Landlords

  • I am a landlord, and a new tenant has moved into my property. What do I need to do?

That’s great news! It’s important that your new tenant knows that your property is on a SNRG Smart Gird. Make sure you or your managing agent informs them of this. Information about SNRG Smart Grids can be found here.

Next, you just need to fill in our Landlord Moving Home form to let us know the new tenant’s details, and we can get in touch with them to set up their account.

  • I am a landlord, and my tenant has moved out. What do I need to do?

You just need to fill in our Landlord Moving Home form to let us know the old tenant’s details, and we can get in touch with them to close their account.

Don’t forget to inform us when your new tenant moves in!

Remember, whilst the property is empty, you are liable for any fixed energy supply charges during this period, as well as whatever consumption the property has.

  • I am a landlord, but my property is currently empty. Who is liable for the bills?

Whilst the property is empty, you are liable for any energy charges during this period. Don’t forget to inform us when your new tenant moves in so we can move the property into their name at the start of their tenancy period!

As we have smart meters fitted for the property we will be getting meter reads automatically, and so you will only be billed for any consumption at the property whilst it is vacant, alongside any fixed charges such as standing charges.
